Hello Everyone! My name is Marissa Mele and I am an Ayurvedic Health Counselor and owner of Five Prana Ayurveda. I have been practicing Ayurveda for over 6 years and I’ve been practicing yoga for over 25 years. I am so fortunate to have been introduced to these sister sciences and I’ve personally experienced transformative changes in my body, mind and spirit through incorporating Ayurvedic principles into my life. I have also witnessed these same transformations in my clients. I believe in the efficacy of Ayurveda and I am very excited to share this ancient healing modality with you.

In our virtual Dinacharya workshop, we will be covering the basics of the Ayurvedic Daily Routine. This workshop will begin with the daily schedule of Dinacharya. We will then break down the sections of the Dinacharya routine like the oral hygiene and personal hygiene routines. You will also learn about Garshana or dry-brushing, udvartana or herbal exfoliation and abhyanga or oil massage. I will then lead you through different yogic practices like pranayama and meditation to help to calm the body, mind and nervous system. I will also outline the yoga asanas and yogic practices that are best for each dosha. Lastly, I will explain the basics of the Ayurvedic diet. At the end of the workshop, you will have learned the essentials of Dinacharya, the Ayurvedic Daily Routine. This will allow you to begin to incorporate Ayurvedic techniques into your daily routine. Let’s dive right in.
