Face masks are similar to the herbal cleansing powders but they are made up mainly of clays from the earth. Mask powders are mixed with liquids to make a paste. These liquids can be simple like water or more elaborate like rosewater and cooled herbal teas. The paste is then applied to the skin and left on for 5-10 minutes. And then rinsed off with water.
