Gentle Ayurvedic Yoga Class

In this Ayurvedic yoga video I will be leading you in a 60 minute Gentle Ayurvedic Yoga class. This gentle yoga class is great for beginners as well as more seasoned practitioners who want to practice a more relaxed and rejuvenative yoga class. This is also gentle enough for people who are doing Panchakarma or other forms of Ayurvedic cleansing. Make sure to listen to your own body and your own innate intuition. If something doesn’t feel right, skip it. Trust that you know what is right for your unique constitution.

For our gentle yoga class you will need:

  • 1 piece of paper and a pen

  • 1-2 blocks, thick books or shoe boxes

  • Bolster or 2 thick pillows

  • Strap or belt

  • 1 blanket

Your gentle yoga class will begin with a Sankalpa Meditation practice to help set a positive intention for class. You will then be led through a gentle physical practice. We will then Nadi Shodhana Pranayama or Alternate Nostril Breathing. The class will end with a Guided Marma Mediation while lying in savasana.
