How to Use an Ayurvedic Face Mask

In this video, I am going to be showing you how to use the Five Prana Ayurvedic Herbal Mask. As a weekly practice you can apply an herbal face mask. Face masks are similar to the herbal cleansing powders but they are made up mainly of clays from the earth. Mask powders are mixed with liquids to make a paste. These liquids can be simple like water or more elaborate like rosewater and cooled herbal teas. The paste is then applied to the skin and left on for 5-10 minutes. And then rinsed off with water. Face masks should be done after you have cleansed the skin. If you are doing this as part of your morning or evening routine, you would first cleanse the skin with your herbal cleansing powder or ubtan, then you would use your face mask, and follow up with a toner and face oil. It is only necessary to apply a face mask once a week.

The Five Prana Herbal Face Masks are made using the highest quality herbal powders and clays. They are also made with organic ingredients whenever possible. Our herbal face masks are permeated with the properties of plants, roots, and herbs and are chosen for you based on the knowledge and wisdom of Ayurveda. Now press play on the video and follow along as you are led through the Ayurvedic skincare technique of using an herbal face mask.
