"I am wise and bright, made of love and light."

My last two days have felt very spiritual. Yesterday I went for a hike and I found this very chill spot to do a few sun salutations and a riverside meditation. The sound of the rushing water was so soothing.

Tonight I attended a wonderful gathering of women for the new moon. I discovered that it is the time of Venus so it is a time to set intentions and to be open to new directions. This past year has been an auspicious time to follow new paths and to manifest new dreams. As Catherine was speaking, I felt that she was talking about my life. It was like the universe purposefully pushed me into my new path of learning Ayurveda. I've really been meditating on my intention for this new moon. This past weekend I had a not-so-hot business day. I felt like people weren't getting my Maroozis. It made me question what I was doing. I realize that I'm going to encounter the same things with Ayurveda. It is a healing modality that isn't very well known especially outside of the yoga community. I'm going to encounter people who don't understand, don't get it and maybe even criticize it. But I have to believe that it had nothing to do with me. And it doesn't have the power to diminish my resolve.

I'm really gravitating toward this mantra, Dana shared at the women's circle:

I am wise and bright, made of love and light.

If I remember that I'm wise and bright, made of love and light and that everyone else is exactly the same way, there's a way to connect with not only human consciousness but cosmic consciousness as well.
