Featured Ayurvedic Recipe: Fall Spiced Kale

Fall Spiced Kale

Ingredients:
1 lb fresh organic kale, washed and leaves removed from stems
1 tbsp ghee
2 tsp fall spice blend
¼-½ cup filtered water or homemade vegetable stock
½ tsp mineral salt
Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves and a squeeze of lime

Directions:
1. Heat ghee over medium heat until melted. Add in the Fall Spice Blend and cook until fragrant.

2. Add the kale and stir to coat in ghee and spices. Cook in the pan for 3-5 minutes.

3. Then add the water or vegetable stock and salt. Cover, lower heat slightly and simmer for 5-10 minutes, until wilted and cooked through.

4. Serve warm with a sprinkle of fresh cilantro leaves on top and a squeeze of lime.
