QOTD: “Life is constantly shifting, changing, and jolting us into new ways of being . How do you reconnect and stay grounded in yourself at these times? Or do you struggle to find your precious jewel (true nature) when these jolts come up?” (3/6/2016) I struggle with the Muladhara chakra. I tend to stay up in my head and I need grounding energy to bring me back down to earth. Meditation is something I rely on to reconnect me with the earth. The other thing is cooking. I love to cook. Using my hands and transforming foods into delicious and nourishing meals grounds my energy and gets me out of my head. Through studying Ayurvedic cooking I've realized how food should be viewed and how each plant, herb, vegetable, fruit and grain has its own energetics and healing properties. I love how Ayurveda teaches us to heal energetically, physically, mentally and spiritually.
